Job summary

CBRE Sr. Accountant will apply advanced accounting fundamentals to create, review, and organize complex financial statements and reports.

This remote full-time role supports the General Accounting function with month-end close duties, variance analysis, and system enhancements. You’ll collaborate across teams, ensure accuracy of ledgers, and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Advanced math skills and ability to calculate complex figures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial documents including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, budgets, and payroll.
• Ensure the general ledger, taxes, and other financial information data are correct and up to date.
• Close month-end accounting entries and reconcile balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Post to GL and review variances to budget and forecast changes to the business.
• Review variance explanation reports for accuracy.
• Track accounts receivable and ensure proper recording of all payments.
