Job summary

InterPayments, a San Francisco-based FinTech SaaS company, is seeking a senior accounting leader to own and oversee reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, and cross-functional processes while partnering with leadership to drive efficiency and scalability.

The role requires multi-year experience in accounting, at least 3 years as Controller, proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years as Controller (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• CPA and public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reporting and operational accounting for the Company.
• Maintain the general ledger and the Company’s financial books and records.
• Organize and drive closing/consolidation processes, including monthly account reconciliations.
• Oversees AP and AR functions.
• Coordinate payroll and sales commissions and assist in budgeting.
