Job summary

Gatik is seeking a Sr. Field Service Team Manager to lead a team of Field Service Technicians, overseeing operations, performance, and career development. You will coordinate with TechOps across Hardware, Software, and Autonomous Vehicle Integration to quickly resolve complex issues and improve fleet reliability.

The role is remote with required travel across North America. You will drive upfits, system validation, and standard work documentation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical field service, fleet maintenance, or automotive/ hardware operations.
• At least 2+ years in direct people management and team leadership.
• Experience with vehicle upfits, sensor/hardware integration, and EOL verification.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage, and empower a field service team, directing daily operations, performance, and career growth.
• Establish a field liaison program and escalation framework between technicians and TechOps/engineering.
• Diagnose underperforming fleet assets and implement maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and reduce MTTR.
• Oversee upfits and EOL verification for compute, sensor, and hardware suites before deployment.
• Execute field campaigns, standardize work instructions, and train maintenance vendors on standards.
• Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA standards.
