Job summary

Quantum-Si seeks a Senior Field Application Scientist to act as the technical product and application expert, supporting sales and customers. The role involves pre-sales interactions, seminars, and customer onboarding with a strong proteomics and mass spectrometry background.

The candidate will collaborate with sales, product, and marketing, manage remote onboarding, deliver training, and drive successful evaluations and reports while traveling up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, or related field.
• Masters/PhD preferred but not required if have 5+ years lab experience.
• Experience in proteomics, protein biology, or mass spectrometry.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills; takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on QSI products, protocols, and troubleshooting.
• Lead pre-sales meetings, seminars, and product evaluations.
• Onboard and train customers remotely and onsite on QSI instruments and software.
• Draft experimental plans and demo reports for customers.
• Drive instrument utilization and support with CRM-based case management.
• Support marketing with technical collateral and application notes.
