Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Administrator (Federal) to guide complex subcontract activities across proposal, operational, and compliance functions in a remote, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will leverage FAR/DFARS expertise, manage CPSR compliant processes, and collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance to align subcontracting strategies with program goals. This role demands strong leadership and cross-functional communication across matrixed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of professional experience.
• Experience managing subcontracts under Prime contract awards (Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials).
• Experience with FAR/DFARS, NDA, TA best practices, CPSR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract data, analyze historical documentation, and resolve complex issues independently.
• Prepare and administer subcontract awards, task orders, and modifications per government regulations and Maximus policies.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and address disputes, discrepancies, and performance issues.
