Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a seasoned Subcontracts Manager to guide policy, review proposals, and oversee award administration under DoD and Federal Civilian programs. You will drive CPSR compliant processes, negotiate terms with suppliers, and ensure strategic alignment with project goals.

The role requires strong experience in FAR/DFARS, NDA/TA practices, and ERP/CLM tooling, within a matrixed organization. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; 7+ years of relevant professional experience required.
• Experience managing subcontracts under Prime contract awards (Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials).
• FAR/DFARS, NDA, TA best practices, CPSR compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP and CLM systems; data analytics and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare subcontract awards, task orders, and modifications per government regulations and Maximus policies.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and address disputes or discrepancies.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals on price, capability, compliance, and history.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance to align strategies.
