Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to oversee policy compliance, review proposals, and manage subcontract awards and modifications under government contracts. The role requires ensuring adherence to FAR/DFARS and CPSR guidelines while coordinating with project teams and government representatives.

The successful candidate will navigate a matrixed environment, lead negotiations on terms and conditions, and drive subcontract performance across multiple programs, including DoD initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 7+ years of experience or equivalent
• Strong experience managing subcontracts under Prime contracts (Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Material)
• FAR/DFARS, NDA, TA best practices, and CPSR compliance experience
• ERP, CLM systems proficiency and data analytics/reporting experience preferred
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with minimal oversight

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer subcontract awards, task orders and modifications per government regulations and Maximus policies
• Monitor subcontractor performance and address disputes and discrepancies
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals based on pricing, capabilities, compliance, and performance history
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance to align subcontracting strategies with project objectives
• Represent the company with subcontractors, suppliers, and government representatives to support business goals
• Work with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to align subcontracting strategies with overall project objectives
• Serve as a resource for teammates for knowledge sharing and trainings
