GovCIO is hiring a Senior Procurement Administrator to support a Federal Government Prime Contract. This fully remote role within the United States focuses on sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

The ideal candidate has extensive US government procurement experience, deep FAR/DFAR knowledge, CPSR compliance experience, and strong negotiation skills to meet deadlines in a high-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.
• Experience complying with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in procuring materials with emphasis on negotiation, PO administration, and vendor performance.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurements and negotiation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operates and communicates effectively in a team environment with stakeholders.
• Liaises with Program Operations to align procurement activities.
• Implements procurement policies to ensure compliance with laws.
• Analyzes market trends to leverage material acquisitions.
• Prepares RFPs and bid packages as required.
• Monitors suppliers based on past performance and evaluation factors.
• Sources and purchases services, equipment and supplies.
