Job summary

SES Space & Defense is seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts to manage cradle-to-grave US government contract requirements and financial deliverables, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency procedures while coordinating proposals, negotiations, and contract administration.

You will interact with Government Contract Officers, support supplier management, and deliver timely contract deliverables in a fast-paced, remote-ready environment that supports national security missions and global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of contracts experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related federal regulations.
• Understanding of US Government contracting processes including GSA schedules and IDIQ.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts and subcontracting.
• Ability to review solicitation terms and identify risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• NCMA membership desired.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors contract performance on government contracts.
• Maintains relationships with Government Contract Officers and contract/subcontract managers.
• Assist with negotiation and administration of agreements.
• Review solicitation terms and amendments; ensure compliance.
• Prepare NDAs, MSAs, SOs and other contracts.
• Support surge workloads and provide guidance to the team.
• Contribute to management reviews of proposals and contracts.
