Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Senior Facility Coder for a full-time remote role to perform accurate one-path coding for Inpatient, Observation, Swing Bed, and Ambulatory Surgery encounters, ensuring compliant coding practices.

You will review medical records, assign codes and modifiers, and initiate provider queries as needed. The role requires handling multiple client responsibilities while meeting productivity benchmarks in a metric-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospital/facility coding experience.
• Experience with one-path coding for Inpatient, Observation, Swing Bed, and Ambulatory Surgery.
• CCS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT/HCPCS, and MS-DRGs.
• Maintain minimum 95% coding accuracy in remote, metric-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate one-path coding for various patient encounters and assign appropriate codes and modifiers.
• Review complete medical records to ensure documentation supports diagnoses and procedures; initiate provider queries when necessary.
• Research complex coding issues and manage coding responsibilities across multiple clients while meeting productivity expectations.
