Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Senior External Reporting Manager to lead U.S. GAAP financial statements, reporting, and technical accounting. This remote role partners with Group Accounting & Reporting, internal stakeholders, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely filings and strong governance.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and drive finance digital transformation, automation, and process improvements while developing the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate reporting, FP&A, public accounting, or related finance discipline, preferably in CPG.
• Experience with corporate reporting, including IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP, technical accounting research, and documentation.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience with talent development and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and publication of U.S. GAAP financial statements, including end-to-end coordination with external auditors.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Evaluate complex and material transactions under U.S. GAAP, document accounting conclusions, and assess impact of new standards.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to cross-functional partners (Operations, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain).
• Lead evaluation/approval of restructuring, impairments, acquisitions, divestitures, pension benefits, hedge accounting, and other significant transactions.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, leading audit planning and coordination for half-year/year-end.
• Drive implementation of reporting systems and enhanced end-to-end processes, controls, and operational effectiveness.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and finance digital transformation using analytics, dashboards, and RPA.
• Champion continuous improvement culture and guide teams through business transformation and digital innovation.
