Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Experience Designer to own complex web and mobile experiences from discovery through launch and measurement. You will reimagine Credly Workforce and support Credly mobile, using AI-powered experiences across web and mobile.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to turn customer needs, research, and product data into clear design direction, shaping the product roadmap and design system growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product design, UX or related field.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex shipped web and mobile products.
• Experience building a product from the ground up or reimagining an existing one.
• Experience designing workflow-based, multi-step digital products.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering from discovery through delivery.
• Experience with Agile/Lean UX environments and mixed-method research.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for complex web and mobile experiences from discovery to launch.
• Lead discovery with product to translate insights into design direction.
• Redesign Credly Workforce and Credly B2C/B2B solutions.
• Conduct usability tests and interviews; apply findings to decisions.
• Design responsive, accessible experiences across devices.
• Use AI tools to accelerate exploration and testing.
• Develop and contribute to a shared design system.
• Collaborate with Engineering through handoff and QA.
• Communicate design rationale to teams and leadership.
• Contribute to design reviews and evolving ways of working.
