Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Experience Designer to rebuild key Credly experiences across web and mobile. You will own complex designs from discovery to launch, working with Product and Engineering to turn customer needs into clear design direction, and contribute to a shared design system.

This remote role emphasizes designing for measurable outcomes and elevated user experiences. The role requires 7+ years of experience, a strong portfolio, and fluency with Figma, usability

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product, UX, or experience design.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of web and mobile products; include access instructions if password protected.
• Experience building a product from the ground up or substantially reimagining an existing experience.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering from discovery through delivery and post-launch evaluation.
• Experience conducting mixed-methods research and working in Agile/Lean UX environments.
• Experience with SaaS, B2C, enterprise, credentialing, learning, or workforce technology is helpful

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for complex web and mobile experiences, from discovery through prototypes and launch.
• Partner with Product to lead discovery and translate insights into design direction.
• Lead redesign of Credly’s Workforce and B2C solutions.
• Conduct usability tests, interviews, and contextual inquiry with analytics-guided decisions.
• Design responsive, accessible experiences across devices with edge cases in mind.
• Use AI tools to speed up design workflows and exploration.
• Contribute to a shared design system with components and patterns.
• Collaborate with Engineering through handoff and QA.
• Communicate research and design rationale clearly to teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with a small design team to improve Credly’s impact
