GFT seeks a Senior Estimator to join our Construction Management practice. This role is remote and open to candidates from anywhere. The successful candidate will develop cost estimates for major facility, transit and infrastructure projects through all design phases.

Responsibilities include advising on constructability, providing value engineering analyses, and preparing OPCCs. Strong MS Office skills and 10+ years estimating experience are required; willingness to travel within the US and

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years estimating experience in construction/manufacturing.
• Experience with heavy construction including sitework, foundations, utilities, concrete and steel.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on experience.
• Willingness to travel to projects across the US and Canada.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Project.

Aufgaben

• Develop cost estimates for major facility, transit and infrastructure projects through all design phases.
• Provide technical advice on constructability, logistics, phasing and alternatives.
• Provide value engineering analyses during all design phases.
• Prepare conceptual estimates, order-of-magnitude budgets, change orders and OPCCs.
• Use company/industry historical data for costing estimates.
• Evaluate and report on third-party estimates sufficiency.
• Assess current and projected economic impacts on projects.
• Collaborate with schedulers to align schedules with estimates.
