Job summary

Optum is seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong Epic integration experience to drive complex EHR services implementations. You will lead interfaces and conversions, mentor teams, and partner with clinical and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable Epic solutions.

This role supports remote work nationwide, with requirement for in-person collaboration in the Minneapolis area as needed. You will oversee design, build, test and go-live activities to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Epic certification in Healthy Planet and at least one additional Epic module.
• 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• 4+ years of experience with Epic implementation and/or support.
• 3+ years of direct client-facing healthcare domain knowledge.
• Willingness to travel ~25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Epic Healthy Planet design, build, testing and implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to configure solutions and provide clinical consultation.
• Lead Epic upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements through all project phases.
• Manage design and validation sessions with thorough documentation and issue escalation.
• Maintain system documentation and support continuous improvements.
