Job summary

Optum needs a skilled Technical Project Manager with hands-on integration experience to lead Epic Healthy Planet projects and related interfaces/conversions. You will manage cross-team projects and coach the integration teams while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

The role supports remote work nationwide with in-office presence required in Minneapolis area four days a week; travel up to 25% will be needed depending on business demands. Excellent Epic knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Epic certification in Healthy Planet plus at least one additional Epic module.
• 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• 4+ years of Epic implementation or support; 3+ years of client-facing healthcare workflow experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Epic Healthy Planet including design, build, testing and implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to design and configure solutions and provide clinical consultation.
• Lead multiple Epic upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements through all project phases.
• Lead design and validation sessions with thorough documentation and issue escalation.
• Maintain system documentation and build records; ensure change control compliance.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support as needed; monitor production applications.
