Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution. You will lead and mentor schedulers, coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and field teams, and ensure schedules meet CPM standards.

The role is remote with periodic travel to job sites in the South Central and Midwest regions. Candidates should have 5+ years in scheduling, Primavera P6 proficiency, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Method scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.
• Contribute to training curriculum development for company-wide schedule management.
• Participate in company onboarding to align with project controls objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.
• Analyze project documents to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations.
• Consult with internal teams for feedback and align with owners/consultants.
• Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and realistic durations.
• Attend project meetings to gather updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporating actuals and monitoring critical path deviations.
• Propose corrective actions and communicate updates to teams.
• Lead internal and external meetings and maintain delay logs.
• Monitor progress using company software and maintain weekly regional status reports.
