Job summary

ClearCaptions is seeking an Engineering Manager – ClearWellness to lead engineering delivery for health tech initiatives in a 100% remote role with travel up to 10%. You will coordinate sprint work, prioritize technical tasks, and ensure solutions meet HIPAA and security requirements while partnering with Product, Security, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of seven years software engineering experience.
• Minimum of three years in technical leadership or team lead roles.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is preferred.
• Ability to plan and manage at strategic and tactical levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery for ClearWellness technology initiatives.
• Coordinate portfolio management and sprint execution.
• Prioritize technical work and ensure HIPAA, privacy, security compliance.
• Collaborate with product, security, compliance, and operations teams.
• Oversee design, estimation, planning, testing, and release processes.
• Manage offshore contractor relationships and vendor delivery.
• Provide input on architecture and ensure alignment with standards.
