Coderio is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for a fully remote role serving global clients. You will own end-to-end delivery, maintain technical depth, and govern architecture while leading cross-functional teams to meet ambitious timelines.

Applicants should bring 7+ years in software engineering, 3+ years in leadership, and strong Java/Python/Node.js skills. You will drive cloud-native, microservices, and API-first strategies with experienced stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with scalable systems.
• 3+ years as Engineering Manager or Tech Lead Manager.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Cloud-native, microservices, and API design experience.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders in a consulting or digital transformation environment.
• Fluent English for international client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural governance and technical authority across projects.
• Enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and delivery cadences.
• Drive modernization with cloud-native, microservices, and API-first approaches.
• Make hard trade-offs between debt, velocity, and scalability and defend them.
• Own the SDLC across multiple accounts from planning to incident response.
• Optimize resources, velocity, and budgets across parallel workstreams.
• Be primary technical interlocutor for CTOs and VPs of Engineering.
• Translate business goals into engineering priorities and identify growth opportunities.
