Galtra Solutions develops modular power and cooling systems for data centers and enables rapid deployment of hyperscale, colocation, and AI/HPC solutions.

The Senior Electrical Application Engineer owns electrical configuration, interfaces with mechanical/controls teams, and drives-repeatable designs for prefabricated platforms. Travel up to 25% is required, with remote work flexibility within the U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree valued.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical systems, power distribution, or industrial product development.
• Mission-critical or data center experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical application engineering for prefabricated platforms through design freeze and configuration tradeoffs.
• Lead development of electrical systems: PDCs, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, packaged controls.
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturable, scalable solutions with defined configurations.
• Specify and size breakers, bus duct, transformers, UPS systems, VFDs, protection devices, and monitoring components.
• Develop vendor-ready electrical requirement packages and resolve clarifications; ensure alignment with cost targets and lead times.
