Job summary

NEXGEN Asset Management is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead delivery of our EAM platform. You will serve as the functional authority and customer advocate from requirements through go-live and handoff, coordinating with a dedicated Project Manager to onboard new clients.

The role requires deep EAM/CMMS domain knowledge, proven facilitation skills, and the ability to translate complex operations into configured software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS/MI or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years as a functional/implementation consultant or senior business analyst on enterprise B2B/SaaS projects.
• Experience with EAM/CMMS platforms; familiarity with NEXGEN, IBM Maximo, HxGN/Infor EAM, Cityworks, Accela or Brightly is valuable.
• Direct experience in utilities/public sector maintenance management preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery workshops to elicit, document, and validate functional requirements across EAM modules.
• Author UR memoranda capturing requirements, configuration decisions, and scope; maintain traceability.
• Analyze current and future processes; develop Visio workflow diagrams for review and sign-off.
• Design and facilitate configuration workshops; configure asset hierarchies, work orders, PMs, inspections, inventory, and security models.
• Provide best-practice consulting during configuration and coordinate with integrations on requirements.
• Facilitate UAT sessions; manage issue logs through triage, resolution, retesting, and closure.
• Guide data migration and configuration template completion; ensure data quality for system loading.
• Support training readiness with Education team; ensure environment stability before training.
