Next Level Solutions is seeking a Senior Developer to lead Duck Creek development, architect solutions, and mentor teammates. You’ll work hands-on with the Duck Creek platform to build custom solutions that drive client success in insurance tech.

This role emphasizes collaboration, scalable design, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment. You’ll influence technical direction and enjoy a flexible, supportive culture with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years with Duck Creek products.
• Knowledge of the Duck Creek Platform (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT).
• Experience with Duck Creek Server API and ManuScript development.
• Proficiency with XML/XSLT (or similar languages).
• Experience with SQL Server (procedures, triggers, functions, cursors, XQueries).
• Familiarity with Postman, ADO/JIRA, and source control systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, especially Agile environments.
• Experience mentoring developers and leading small project teams.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and configure custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript.
• Design scalable solutions aligned with client strategies and future capabilities.
• Take ownership of customer issues and drive them to resolution.
• Lead a small team of developers and contribute to project success.
• Mentor junior team members and support their growth.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Contribute to planning, design, and continuous improvement of development processes.
