Job summary

Next Level Solutions is seeking a Senior Developer – Billing to lead client engagements and translate business needs into Duck Creek solutions. You will mentor developers, develop custom Duck Creek modules, and leverage ManuScript, SQL and APIs to deliver scalable billing applications.

Join a collaborative team of Analysts, Architects and Project Leadership, and help shape technical direction while delivering high-quality software for our P&C clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent training.
• 3+ years of experience with Duck Creek product lines and development toolsets.
• Deep understanding of ManuScript components and translating requirements into designs.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Author (Fields, Pages, Forms, Tables).
• Experience using Duck Creek debugging tools (TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, Data Tester, Processing Exceptions).
• Experience with multiple Duck Creek product versions and Duck Creek Skins.
• Experience with C#-based custom business objects and Duck Creek APIs.
• Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, triggers, UDFs, types, cursors, and XQueries.

Responsibilities

• Lead client interactions by clarifying needs and managing expectations.
• Understand and interpret business requirements with the team.
• Develop Duck Creek solutions via ManuScript configuration.
• Execute SQL-based queries to support development and debugging.
• Plan and design future-state solutions aligned with strategies.
• Own customer issues and drive them to resolution.
• Teach and mentor developers on the Duck Creek platform.
• Leverage Duck Creek Billing products: Author, Express, Server, User Admin, Billing.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
