Next Level Solutions in Springfield, MO seeks a Senior Developer to advance our Duck Creek development team. You will design, configure, and deliver custom Duck Creek solutions; mentor junior engineers; shape technical direction; collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.

You bring 5+ years in insurance tech, 4+ years with Duck Creek, strong SQL/XML skills, ManuScript, and a collaborative mindset. We offer flexible work options, strong benefits, and a culture of learning and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years with Duck Creek.
• Proficiency with Duck Creek Platform components: Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT.
• Experience with Duck Creek Server API and ManuScript development.
• Proficiency with XML/XSLT and SQL Server (T‑SQL).
• Familiarity with Postman, Jira, and source control systems.
• Strong SDLC understanding with Agile environments; mentoring experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and configure custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript.
• Help design scalable solutions that align with client strategies and future capabilities.
• Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to resolution.
• Lead a small team of developers and contribute to project success.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Contribute to planning, design, and continuous improvement of development processes.
