Job summary

Pacific Specialty Insurance Company (PSIC) is seeking a Senior Developer to lead Duck Creek Billing initiatives remotely in the USA. You will design, develop, and optimize billing-related applications, guiding a hands-on team through architecture, coding, and delivery.

Ideal candidates have extensive Duck Creek Billing experience, P&C domain expertise, and strong leadership skills to mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 12 to 14 years of hands-on experience in application software development with a strong focus on Duck Creek Billing.
• Extensive experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain, including proven success in Billing Architect and Technical Lead roles.
• Deep expertise in Personal Lines Insurance, including Homeowners, Casualty, and Motorcycle products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and debug business applications and programs.
• Lead development teams while staying hands-on with coding and technical delivery.
• Provide architectural leadership and recommend design improvements for scalability and performance.
• Coordinate with business analysts, solution architects, product owners and delivery managers in Agile environments.
• Deliver detailed documentation and estimates for tasks and projects.
• Mentor junior/mid-level developers on best practices and Duck Creek standards.
