Job summary
Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Disputes, Chargebacks and Partner Performance to lead and optimize our disputes operations. You will drive data-informed decisions, manage BPO relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate cardholder experiences and regulatory compliance.
The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements across multiple programs and partners.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in disputes & chargebacks operations.
- Strong communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Data-driven approach to identify improvements.
- Experience with Reg E/Reg Z is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define data-driven strategies to improve disputes and chargebacks operations.
- Manage relationships with BPO site leadership and vendors.
- Monitor KPIs, aging case volumes, and provisional credit timelines.
- Drive process optimization and scalable routing/workflows.
- Ensure compliance with Reg E, Reg Z, and other regulations.
- Lead and coach teams to high performance in disputes operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cardholder experience.
- Oversee new program launches and changes to procedures.
