Job summary
Collectors Universe Inc. is seeking a Head of Disputes Operations in Santa Ana, CA to lead day-to-day disputes across our marketplace, Power Packs, and lending ventures. You will own the full dispute lifecycle, drive win rates, and manage a team to meet regulatory deadlines while protecting customer trust.
You will partner with Fraud Operations, ensure policy-driven decisions, and scale playbooks across product lines to maximize recovery and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in disputes or payments operations with people management.
- Knowledge of card-network dispute rules and lifecycle.
- Experience meeting SLAs and monitoring thresholds.
- Strong analytical skills with dispute data.
- Customer-centric balance of recovery, loss and retention.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end chargeback and dispute lifecycle across payment processors and card networks.
- Develop representment playbooks and improve win rates.
- Monitor card-network monitoring programs to stay below thresholds.
- Lead disputes across Marketplace, Power Packs, and Lending.
- Collaborate with Fraud Operations to route disputes correctly.
- Maintain dispute policies and playbooks scalable across product lines.
