Job summary

Point Foundation seeks a visionary Sr. Director, Technology & Systems to own the technology foundation and multi-year roadmap for a national nonprofit.

This role will drive IT strategy, vendor relationships, data governance, CRM, cybersecurity, and AI adoption, guiding program and development teams to accelerate impact while maintaining controls. The position reports to the COO and is remote-based with occasional in-person LA-area meetings.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in technology or systems leadership, incl. 3-5 years at senior/director level in nonprofit or scaling org.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Blackbaud, or equivalent) and cloud collaboration (Microsoft 365).
• Hands-on experience deploying AI tools in an organizational setting, including adoption, training, and risk.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to translate technical decisions for non-technical leaders.
• Discretion and judgment in handling sensitive organizational and constituent data.
• Committed to advancing equity and inclusion in all areas of responsibility and across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own technology roadmap and multi-year strategy translating growth goals into systems & infrastructure.
• Advise on data governance, CRM strategy, and cybersecurity with department leaders.
• Lead vendor management and contract negotiations for technology partners.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and business continuity to support a nimble staff.
• Lead AI adoption and change management across the organization.
