IREN is seeking a Senior Director of HPC Deployment to lead and scale GPU/HPC cluster deployments across data centers. You will transform validated engineering packages into repeatable production deployments, overseeing networking, storage, automation, and observability across sites.

This executive role demands 15+ years in infrastructure with 8+ years guiding large teams, a proven ability to deliver concurrent deployments, and strong governance across quality, risk, and schedule.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in infrastructure, HPC, cloud, data center, or large-scale distributed systems.
• 8+ years leading large technical organizations.
• Experience delivering multiple complex deployments concurrently.
• Strong operational discipline with metrics, risk management, forecasting, and cross-functional execution.
• Knowledge of GPU-based computing infrastructure and high-performance networking.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end execution of large-scale GPU/HPC cluster deployments from readiness through installation and handoff.
• Ensure deployments follow reference architecture, BOM, topology, and standards; enforce change-control when needed.
• Deliver against GPU capacity dates with detailed plans, milestones, and site-readiness criteria.
• Maintain QA/QC throughout the deployment lifecycle and track defects and production acceptance.
• Build a deployment factory with standardized workflows, staffing, and automation.
• Drive an automation-first deployment model with NPI/engineering partners.
• Create a feedback loop to improve golden builds and publish learnings.
• Ensure production delivery meets defined engineering, performance, and reliability criteria.
• Lead a multi-site organization spanning HPC, network, storage, automation, and program management.
• Develop leaders to manage multiple deployments concurrently and uphold standards.
