Job summary

IREN is seeking a Senior Director of HPC Delivery to lead end-to-end deployment of FOAK GPU/HPC clusters, ensuring architecture handoff to production across compute, networking, storage, and automation. You will drive rigorous QA/QC, establish measurable gates, and own program milestones to meet aggressive delivery dates while maintaining engineering rigor.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, HPC, cloud, data center, networking, or large-scale distributed systems.
• 8+ years leading highly technical engineering organizations.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure programs against aggressive schedules and high quality requirements.
• Strong understanding of GPU-based computing architectures and high‑performance networking (InfiniBand and RoCE).
• Knowledge across compute, networking, storage, Linux, firmware, drivers, provisioning, automation, and management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of FOAK GPU/HPC clusters from architecture handoff through installation and production handoff.
• Establish rigorous QA/QC framework with measurable gates and acceptance criteria across the delivery lifecycle.
• Own delivery predictability with milestones, critical paths, and risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with architecture and engineering to translate designs into deployable systems and ensure deployability.
• Create a complete golden build package including reference architecture, BOMs, topology, and automation.
• Document how to reproduce the cluster, including workflows, standards, and troubleshooting.
• Define NPI-to-Scale handoff process with measurable readiness criteria for repeatable deployments.
• Drive automation-first deployment across provisioning, validation, and production acceptance.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary organization spanning HPC/GPU, networking, and systems engineering.
