Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Director of Performance for the Life Sciences Platform to build and own the performance discipline across accounts. This role is not a people manager but a function builder accountable for consistent, credible, and commercially useful performance outcomes.

You will define the scorecard architecture, KPI definitions and governance, while leading a community of practice and coordinating with sales and leadership during pursuit and solutioning.

Qualifications

• Built or substantially rebuilt a performance/measurement function.
• Credible with Account Directors, Managing Directors & clients despite no direct reporting lines.
• Strong understanding of management fee mechanics, contracts & margins.
• Operate through influence and standards rather than headcount.
• Willing to change how work is done instead of maintaining the current model.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences, GxP or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the scorecard architecture, KPI library, data quality and governance cadence across Life Sciences accounts.
• Convene a performance community, review new scorecards and share best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales Development and account leadership to price and staff performance models before contract signing.
• Carry performance through pursuit, transition, go-live and steady state.
• Maintain cross-account view of outcomes, at-risk fee position and best practices; bring external market view in.
• Collaborate with JLLT to automate and reduce admin burden on performance roles.
• Serve as point of contact when scorecards are incorrect or transitions lag; no central absorbing team.
• Develop career paths for performance across the vertical; facilitate movement between accounts.
