Capital One is seeking a Senior Director, Tax Accounting, a high-level leadership role responsible for global tax provisioning, reporting, and forecasting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related quantitative discipline (or military experience).
• CPA designation currently active or previously achieved and currently inactive.

Responsabilités

• Lead global tax provision preparation, review, and sign-off for quarterly and annual statements.
• Oversee tax disclosures in SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Manage ETR, and global deferred tax assets/liabilities valuation and reporting.
• Guide tax forecasting for ETR, DTA, and credit capacity projections to optimize cash flow.
• Direct CCAR-related tax workstreams including capital planning and stress testing.
• Mentor and develop a team of 4 tax professionals and drive succession planning.
• Partner with Tax Planning on acquisitions/divestitures and post-merger integration.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls over income tax reporting.
