Dahl Consulting is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead enterprise risk initiatives, oversee corporate insurance programs, and advise senior leadership on risk strategies. Remote work with 20-30% travel, permanent/direct-hire, and a compensation range of $250,000 to $350,000 annually is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Insurance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive risk management experience in insurance brokerage.
• Experience analyzing and negotiating commercial insurance coverages and policy language.
• Deep knowledge of property, casualty, professional liability, and E&O.
• Strong contract review and negotiation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead enterprise and operational risk management across the organization.
• Develop and improve risk management policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Direct placement, renewal, and administration of corporate insurance programs.
• Analyze coverage terms, endorsements, exclusions, and limitations.
• Review and negotiate insurance provisions in contracts and commercial agreements.
• Manage complex claims activities and loss-prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with insurers and internal stakeholders on reserves and risk transfer.
