Dahl Consulting is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for a fully remote role in the United States. The position targets professionals with insurance industry experience who can assess risk, strengthen internal controls, and drive governance improvements across financial, operational, and compliance audits.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end audits, developing risk-based plans, communicating findings to management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in internal or external audit.
• Insurance industry experience is required.
• Knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards and audit methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple audits and projects concurrently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise-wide annual risk assessment and audit plan development.
• Lead full audit lifecycle: planning, execution, reporting, remediation follow-up.
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and governance.
• Collaborate with leadership and business partners across the organization.
• Participate in advisory reviews and audit-related initiatives.
• Manage multiple audits and meet deadlines.
• Perform internal control assessments of acquired companies.
