You will own multi-year modeling roadmaps and oversee development of credit decisioning and portfolio models, translating complex results into actionable executive insights. You will guide end-to-end model ownership, apply cutting-edge ML methods, ensure model governance, and collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, OR Operations Research.
• PhD strongly preferred, especially with research in ML, statistics, or quantitative finance.
• 7+ years of experience developing statistical or ML models, preferably in financial services or consumer credit.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year modeling roadmap for credit-risk acquisition and portfolio management models.
• Lead discussions with senior stakeholders to align methodology, priorities, and risk considerations.
• Develop advanced ML models for credit card acquisition, underwriting, and account-management risk.
• Perform feature engineering, model development, hyperparameter optimization, and evaluation.
• Establish training, validation, and out-of-time testing strategies and document results.
• Partner with validation and model risk teams to address feedback and governance.
