Job summary

Mission Healthcare is seeking a senior contracts and regulatory specialist to manage the contract lifecycle, licensing, and CMS accreditation across multiple states. You will negotiate agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Finance to mitigate risk.

The role requires strong contract review skills, multi-state experience, and knowledge of CMS CoPs, Medicare enrollment, and payor contracting frameworks. Remote work option available, base in Southern CA.

Qualifications

• CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs) knowledge.
• Medicare enrollment and revalidation familiarity.
• State home health licensing requirements knowledge.
• Payor contracting frameworks understanding.
• Experience managing multiple states or markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract lifecycle from initiation to execution.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize vendor, service, client, and licensing agreements.
• Collaborate with legal and finance to identify and mitigate contract risks.
• Maintain contract databases and tracking systems.
• Monitor contract compliance, SLAs, payment terms, and deliverables.
• Develop efficiency through improved contract management processes.
• Coordinate Medical Director agreements and other professional services contracts.
• Oversee licensing across states, including CHOWs and renewals.
• Support CMS certification processes and accreditation activities.
• Develop governance docs and centralized repositories for contracts and licensure.
