Job summary

Author Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Licensing and Credentialing to lead licensing, credentialing, and NCQA initiatives for a national telehealth provider.

In this fully remote role, you will manage delegated credentialing, vendor relationships, payer panels, and ongoing maintenance of licenses and registrations while partnering with leadership, clinical teams, and vendors to scale operations and ensure timely credentialing.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of licensing and credentialing experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• Experience with NCQA standards and payor delegated agreements.
• Experience managing credentialing and licensing vendors; strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience scaling licensing/credentialing in startup/telehealth environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute licensing and credentialing programs with target states and payer panels.
• Own delegated credentialing program ensuring compliance with NCQA and payer requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, performance, and contracts.
• Serve as operational liaison between vendors and clinicians; ensure smooth credentialing workflows.
• Lead regulatory audits, attestations, and CAQH/profile maintenance.
