Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking a Senior Manager, Direct Mail & Email Marketing to lead planning, execution, and performance management across direct mail, shared mail, and email channels. This role coordinates with Field Operations, Finance, Analytics, Creative, and external vendors while guiding the Email Marketing Manager.

The candidate will develop monthly campaign calendars, manage budgets, and ensure campaigns meet deadlines, within budget, and aligned with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing direct mail, shared mail, and performance-based marketing campaigns.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end campaign production cycles: creative review, proofing, list management, vendor coordination, deployment.
• Strong understanding of direct mail segmentation, personalization, testing, and postal optimization.
• Experience using campaign performance data to guide targeting, testing, and decisions.
• Proven experience managing budgets, invoices, vendor pricing, and cost controls.
• Experience leading or managing individual contributors with coaching and feedback.
• Knowledge of Braze or similar marketing automation platforms; ability to oversee channel alignment without direct ownership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; familiarity with Asana, Adobe proofing tools, and vendor portals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of direct mail and shared mail campaigns, including planning and deployment.
• Develop and manage monthly campaign calendars, timelines, budgets, and production workflows.
• Monitor KPIs such as response rates and MCR to identify opportunities and adjustments.
• Oversee email marketing priorities and alignment with print/digital outreach.
• Prevent audience overlap and timing conflicts across channels.
• Coordinate with Field Ops and cross-functional teams to manage requests and expectations.
• Manage agency and vendor relationships, pricing, timelines, and quality standards.
• Forecast and track budgets, approve invoices, and address potential overages or concerns.
• Maintain intake, documentation, approvals, and governance processes.
• Lead and develop the Email Marketing Manager with clear priorities and feedback.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance planning, messaging, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
