Job summary

Leidos seeks a senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer to lead secure, automated DevSecOps for a Coast Guard platform. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, observability, and security controls across AWS GovCloud and Kubernetes environments.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in hands-on DevSecOps, expert GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps with Argo CD, plus experience with monitoring stacks and Vault-based secrets management. U.S.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in hands-on DevSecOps roles.
• Expert-level GitLab CI, building complex reusable pipelines.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise and Terraform in AWS GovCloud.
• Experience with GitOps (Argo CD) and IaC tooling (Kustomize, Helm).
• Security tooling: SAST/SCA, container hardening, Vault-managed secrets.
• Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging to SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CI/CD templates and software supply chain security.
• Develop IaC for AWS GovCloud and Kubernetes, using GitOps (Argo CD).
• Deploy and manage core platform services: GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Vault.
• Automate security controls and compliance (NIST RMF ATO).
• Implement centralized observability and secure log forwarding.
