Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure cloud architecture for IoT data transmission, processing, and storage. This remote role focuses on building secure, scalable cloud platforms with a shift-left security culture across SDLC.

You will partner with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security, automation, and compliance, while driving rapid software delivery and governance across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience securing cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience securing public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with SAST, DAST, container security, and vulnerability management.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 or similar cloud security frameworks.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication across engineering and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure for IoT data transmission, processing, and storage.
• Develop secure authentication, encryption, and identity management solutions.
• Create and maintain IaC modules with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure secure, encrypted communication between IoT devices and cloud services.
• Implement network security controls to protect against threats including DDoS and MITM.
• Develop and maintain security controls for data in transit and at rest.
• Manage IAM and secure APIs between cloud platforms and enterprise apps.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and vulnerability reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers on secure cloud architecture.
