Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to secure, automate and optimize enterprise release pipelines and production platforms. You will manage IAM infrastructure, drive rapid remediation of security vulnerabilities, and work with AWS/Azure cloud technologies in a highly collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years operating IAM or security-critical platforms in production.
• 4+ years building Java and Spring-based applications.
• 4+ years remediating code security vulnerabilities.
• 3+ years in release engineering and managing production releases.
• 3+ years designing infrastructure in AWS/Azure.
• 4+ years of demonstrated behavioral competencies: ownership, accountability and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage IAM/security platforms in production environments.
• Coordinate and execute release pipelines for secure production releases.
• Participate in on-call and incident response to meet SLAs.
• Engage with customers to triage issues with strong communication.
• Manage vulnerability remediation across environments.
• Implement and optimize monitoring dashboards (Splunk) for visibility.
• Support disaster recovery and resilience initiatives.
