Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. is seeking a Senior Manager, DevOps to lead our DevOps function within Operations and Platform Management. You will own strategy, architecture, and execution for a scalable DevOps foundation supporting our critical energy management platform.

The role requires building a secure, automated, and highly observable environment across cloud and edge. Travel up to 15% may be needed, with remote work preferred for the right candidate in California.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
10+ years in DevOps, Platform Eng, SRE, or related roles.
3+ years leading DevOps or platform teams.
Strong background in CI/CD, GitOps, automation, and cloud.
Expert with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.
Experience with security, compliance, and governance.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor DevOps and platform engineers across cloud and edge environments.
Define strategy, roadmap, standards, and governance for the DevOps function.
Drive automation, reliability, security, and scalable practices.
Partner with Engineering, SRE, Security, Architecture, Product, and Ops.
Champion observability, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
Oversee CI/CD, GitOps workflows, and deployment security.
