Job summary

Five9 seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer – Infra Services to lead the DNS and Kubernetes stack across private cloud environments. The role focuses on scalable DNS architectures, Infoblox DDI implementations, and Cloudflare/GCP/AWS DNS integrations.

You will drive automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with SRE and platform teams to ensure high availability, multi-tenant isolation, and secure operations across Linux-based systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing global DNS and Kubernetes on Linux
• Expertise with Infoblox DDI, Bind9, CloudFlare, and AWS/GCP DNS services
• Proven automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python and CI/CD
• Strong Linux systems engineering and scripting background

Responsibilities

• Implement and support large-scale DNS architecture across private and public clouds
• Manage Infoblox DDI, Cloudflare DNS, and cloud DNS services
• Operate multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters on BareMetal and storage stacks
• Establish IaC-driven provisioning using Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi and Python
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated patching, testing and rollback
• Build monitoring, alerting and healing using GitOps and Prometheus/Grafana
• Ensure HA, DR and scalable operations for mission-critical platforms
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident root-causes
