Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote role to enable reliable, scalable, and observable operation of a strategic web-based product. You will work with development teams to deploy, operate, and evolve software across environments and customer setups.

You will lead containerization, deployment models, and observability, build CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation with AI-assisted tools while ensuring security and reliability in cloud and hybrid

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure-related roles.
• Hands-on with Docker and container-based deployment models.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational best practices.
• Experience operating distributed systems across cloud and/or hybrid environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Experience using AI-supported tools in operational contexts responsibly.
• Excellent English communication; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain container-based deployment setups using Docker and related technologies.
• Define repeatable deployment and runtime models across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Build and maintain deployment and environment automation for reliable, auditable operations.
• Support development teams with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Design and improve observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing).
• Advise on infrastructure topics like networking, security, hardware requirements, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure operability is considered early.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency while validating outputs.
