Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr Devops Engineer for a remote US-based role. You will lead architectural assessments of 20+ EKS clusters, drive consolidation to a single multi-tenant platform, and define service mesh, CNI, and CI/CD strategies.

Qualifications

EKS Architectural Mastery: multi-tenant, enterprise-scale cluster design and governance.
Advanced AWS Networking & CNI: VPC, Transit Gateway, choice of CNIs for IPAM and performance.
Enterprise Security & IAM: IAM roles for service accounts (IRSA) and KMS encryption.
Traffic Management & Service Mesh: design enterprise ingress and mesh architectures.
IaC & Automation Governance: modular, scalable Terraform for EKS fleet management.

Responsibilities

Lead Enterprise EKS Audit across 20+ clusters, assessing workload, compute, and security posture.
Create Consolidation Roadmap to migrate workloads to a multi-tenant EKS platform.
Define CNI & Service Mesh strategy and select最佳方案 for network performance and observability.
Architect Golden Cluster standard and Terraform to automate EKS control plane, VPC, and add-ons.
Establish zero-trust security, RSAs, and secure pod communications across the platform.
Oversee pilot migrations and validate end-to-end deployment of representative Python workloads.
Define cluster lifecycle governance, including version upgrades and DR capabilities.
Design CI/CD infrastructure to support developer platforms on EKS.
