Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote, 6-month contract engagement to help build and operate a third-party platform.

The role focuses on delivering production-ready Azure infrastructure, deployment automation, and integration with existing digital asset workflows. Strong scripting in Python/Bash, Terraform/IaC, and Java backend experience are valued, with effective communication and leadership essential for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on DevOps experience.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services, AKS, and Terraform or IaC.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Backend development experience, Java preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with diverse audiences and manage stakeholders.
• Experience operating in fast-moving environments with multiple dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver production-ready Azure infrastructure for the platform.
• Implement deployment automation and operational visibility.
• Integrate the platform with existing digital asset ecosystem and workflows.
• Create documentation, perform knowledge transfer, and complete handoff activities.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across technical and business domains.
