Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote, six-month contract engagement to build and validate the platform's Azure infrastructure and deployment automation. You will hand off documentation and coordinate knowledge transfer for ongoing support after implementation.

Ideal candidates have strong Azure/AKS experience, Terraform/IaC, and backend skills (Java). You will lead discussions with diverse stakeholders and operate in a fast-moving environment. W2 benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on DevOps experience.
• Expertise with Azure Cloud Services, AKS, and Terraform or IaC.
• Strong scripting skills such as Python and Bash.
• Backend development experience, with Java preferred.
• Effective communication and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with diverse audiences and manage stakeholders.
• Experience operating in fast-moving environments with multiple dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver production-ready Azure infrastructure for the platform.
• Implement deployment automation and operational visibility.
• Integrate the platform with existing digital asset ecosystem and workflows.
• Create documentation, perform knowledge transfer, and complete handoff activities.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across technical and business domains.
