Job summary

3M Consultancy is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to own the full lifecycle of a multi-tenant AI SaaS platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will manage IaC, onboard clusters, and maintain GitOps workflows for Kubernetes workloads.

The role covers both day-to-day operations and strategic architecture, with emphasis on security and resiliency across clouds. Onsite in Austin, TX for a 6–12 month contract.

Qualifications

• Production-level Terraform and Terragrunt in multi-account/multi-cloud environments.
• Kubernetes (EKS and AKS) multi-cluster management, networking, workload troubleshooting.
• AWS, Azure, and GCP — simultaneous multi-cloud experience required.
• Identity and secrets management (workload identity, KMS, Key Vault).
• Observability tooling and modern SaaS platform operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full delivery lifecycle of a multi-tenant AI SaaS platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Manage Terragrunt-wrapped Terraform IaC for multi-account cloud provisioning.
• Onboard new clusters end-to-end from bootstrap scripts through ArgoCD app-of-app patterns.
• Maintain GitOps-driven Kubernetes delivery via ArgoCD and Helmfile.
• Build and maintain reusable GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows for Docker, Terraform, and cross-repo deploys.
• Contribute to architectural improvements ensuring resiliency, security, and cross-cloud compatibility.

Job Title: Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to own the full delivery lifecycle of a multi‑tenant AI SaaS platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role spans both day‑to‑day operational responsibilities and strategic architectural contribution.

Infrastructure & Cloud

• Manage Terragrunt‑wrapped Terraform IaC for multi‑customer cloud account provisioning
• Provision and maintain cloud resources including EKS, AKS, RDS, Redis, ACR/ECR, KMS/Key Vault, and workload identity across cloud providers
• Onboard new clusters end‑to‑end from bootstrap scripts through ArgoCD app‑of‑app patterns
• Maintain GitOps‑driven Kubernetes workload delivery via ArgoCD and Helmfile
• Author and promote Helm chart overlays across multiple environments
• Debug and remediate containerized workloads (Temporal, Authentik, kgateway, observability stacks) across cloud providers

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain reusable GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows for Docker image builds, Terraform plan/apply gates, and cross‑repo deploys
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues across a highly variable, multi‑layer technology stack

Architecture & Engineering

• Contribute to product feature enhancements through design and implementation of architectural improvements
• Ensure all architectural changes satisfy requirements for resiliency, security, and compatibility across multiple cloud providers
