Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Delivery Manager for Healthcare Payer to lead complex payer transformation programs across platform implementations, modernization, migrations, and enhancements.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure successful business and technology outcomes, while guiding Agile delivery and governance across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in IT, CS, business, healthcare administration, or related field.
10+ years of experience leading large-scale technology delivery programs, especially in healthcare payer environments.
Proven experience managing platform implementations, modernization programs, migrations, or digital transformations.
Strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, release planning, and Jira governance.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, quality engineering, conversion, and integration functions.
Experience managing executive stakeholders, client leadership teams, vendors, and distributed delivery organizations.
Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations and related business domains.
Proven track record of driving delivery excellence through risk, dependency, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare payer transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives and client expectations.
Drive Agile execution across multiple workstreams including analysis, configuration, development, testing, conversion, integration, and release management.
Establish and maintain delivery governance, sprint planning, release planning, dependency management, and stakeholder communications for predictable outcomes.
Manage program risks, issues, and impediments with mitigation and resolution plans.
Coordinate with client leadership, vendors, and internal teams for integrated planning, environment readiness, and production releases.
