Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Delivery Manager for Healthcare Payer to lead large-scale payer transformation programs, modernizing and migrating platforms. The role collaborates with owners, architects, and client leadership to achieve business and tech outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in healthcare delivery, strong Agile skills, and a track record of managing multi-vendor, cross-functional teams to drive successful deployments and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, business, healthcare admin, or related field.
• 10+ years leading large-scale technology delivery programs in healthcare payer environments.
• Experience managing platform implementations, modernization programs, migrations, or digital transformations.
• Strong Agile delivery experience: Scrum, sprint planning, backlog & release planning, Jira governance.
• Lead cross-functional teams across business, technology, QA, conversion & integration.
• Experience managing executive stakeholders, vendors, and distributed delivery organizations.
• Understanding of healthcare payer operations, core admin platforms, claims, enrollment, benefits, provider.
• Proven track record delivering with risk, dependency, resource planning & governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare payer transformation initiatives.
• Drive Agile execution across multiple workstreams.
• Establish and maintain delivery governance, sprint & release planning.
• Manage program risks, issues, and impediments with mitigation plans.
• Coordinate integrated planning, environment readiness, and production releases.
